New Features in Version 4

Scrip Pro 4 features several new enhancements that makes it more flexible, intuitive and even easier to use.  Version 4 is a direct result from scrip coordinators around the country providing continuous feedback on the features and improvements they would like to see.

New features in version 4 include:
 

	Multiple Contribution (Profit) Splits per Family
	A family can now be set up to automatically split their profits to up to 4 other families and/or up to 4 other Accounts (formerly Groups).  This is useful if you have grandparents or other families who wish to split profits to different families.
	Add Unlimited Accounts (formerly Groups)
	You can optionally create unlimited Accounts, (such as Youth Group, Classrooms, Tech Fund, etc.) and each family can split their profit to up to 4 different Accounts.
	Make a Denomination Inactive
	Any denomination for a vendor can now be made inactive by checking the 'Inactive' box next to the denominaiton in the 'Update Vendor' screen.  That denomination will then not show up as an option when entering sales or inventory.
	Calculate Credit Over Minimum
	Credit can now be calculated over the minimum everywhere in the software, instead of just 1 report.  This feature can be turned on under Properties in the Contributions tab.
	New 'Add from Scrip to Order' Option
	Save time in entering inventory by using this option on the 'Add Inventory' screen, which fills the screen automatically with the scrip you ordered in just a couple of clicks.
	New Program Credits Function
	A Program Credits function has been added that works similar to Program Expenses.  Create custom Credit types to add credits (profit) to your program, like 'Interest' or 'Fees Collected' or any profit that you do not want to track on a per-family basis.
	Define Custom Payment Types
	You can now create any Payment Type you wish under Properties, such as 'Gift Scrip'.
	Ability to Turn Off Scrip Due
	Those programs who do not use the Scrip Due column can now check it off under 'Properties', so that it does not display anywhere in the software or on any report.
	Comment Field Added to the 'Add Sales' Screen
	A Comment field has been added in the 'Add Sales' screen for each line item - useful for those who track serial numbers or to place any desired comment for a particular scrip purchase.  It is not part of the tab sequence, so your data entry speed is not affected.
	Vendor Profitability Report can be Sorted by Any Column
	Under Reporting, the vendor profitability report runs faster and can be sorted by any column in the report, such as by Profit, Amt. Received, etc.   Just select the sort option in the drop-down menu before running the report.
	Two Additional User Defined Fields
	Two more user defined fields have been added to the Family Account screen to track any custom data you desire.
	Sales Detail for a Family Now Includes Contributor Totals
	When double-clicking on a family, totals for the family show the family totals AND each Contributor (if any) as well with a 'Totals with Contributors' line that gives a complete picture of the families profit and credit.
	Interface Enhancements
	Contributors are more easily identifiable from the main screen with a green person icon;  the 'Add Sales' and 'Add Inventory' screens are bigger to view more of the items; the Reporting Period is now prominantly displayed and editable on all screens.
