Scrip Pro is now a Scrip Center!
Yes, things have changed dramatically for us here. We are no longer a software company. We’re now a Scrip Center with great software. We recently acquired ScripCents of Kalamazoo, MI and now provide the most complete, integrated solution for running a successful scrip program.
Why the big change? We’ve always been keenly aware of the benefits of integrating the ordering process with our software, and so have several of our customers. To that end, we met with other scrip centers to discuss tying into their ordering process, but we couldn’t reach an agreement. There’s a reason our software is the #1 scrip management software on the market, with inventory management, profit splitting, reporting features, and a user interface that’s world class. So, we made the logical choice to emerge as a scrip center ourselves and offer an integrated solution by combining our software with the scrip ordering process.
We understand that many of our customers use our software and purchase scrip through another scrip center and you may continue to do this with conditions. However, we no longer are a software company, but rather, a scrip center offering top notch software. We want you to continue as our Scrip Pro customer and consider us for your gift card purchases as well. You can expect the same service you’re accustomed to with our software. You will not be forced to purchase all of your scrip through us, but please understand the situation and know that using our software to help organize purchases through another scrip center is not a good long-term strategy for you or us.
How does this affect my current software?
You are free to continue to use any previous version of Scrip Pro, HOWEVER, we no longer support these versions. As a result, we no longer provide for re-installs of previous versions either. But don’t worry, it’s free to upgrade to Version 5 and we do support this version. Our desktop software integrates the entire ordering process with a single click of the mouse.

We’re competitive with the merchants we offer, with shipping costs, and the list of merchants is growing. If you have specific merchants you’d like to see, please let us know and we’ll add them. In addition, we’ve been supporting our software for over 10 years in accounts throughout the United States. We’re committed to maintaining world-class software to help you effectively manage your scrip program and will continue to offer enhanced features throughout the year.

Terms and FAQ's
All current Scrip Pro users are eligible to install version 5 for free. Because we are now a scrip center, we are no longer supporting earlier versions of the software, but will be supporting version 5. We recommend all users upgrade to version 5.
What are the benefits in moving to version 5 for free?
- It's free and easy to upgrade - you can convert your current database in a couple of clicks

- More features and functionality with the software are on the way!
What are the requirements to keep using version 5?
- In order to keep your Version 5 software active and continue to receive on-going support, $50,000 of your scrip purchases must be placed with us per year. Now that we are a scrip center, it is strictly from the sale of scrip that we are able to cover the costs of our software. Our goal is to help you grow your program while providing the technology to do so without you having to pay out-of-pocket. We have a growing list of merchants and our discount rates are very competitive.
- If you feel there will be a problem meeting the $50K requirement because of the size of your scrip program, please don't hesitate to call us at 574-968-0827 to discuss. We will also need you to fax us your Vendor Profitability Report, sorted by Amt. Received. This will highlight to us the vendors you typically sell. Please fax this to us at 866-479-6801.
- There is currently no option to purchase the software. If you are not willing to order the agreed upon minimum amount of scrip through us, the software will expire 1 year from your registration date. No fee or penalty will be assessed.
- You must be connected to the internet at least once every 30 days when launching Scrip Pro to keep the software validated
How do I get started with version 5?
- Download version 5
- Enroll your organization with Scrip Pro
- After enrolling, you will receive an email with a serial number for the software within 1 business day. In the meantime, you may use the software under the trial period. Enter the serial number on the registration screen you see when launching the software. KEEP THIS CODE. You may use this code to register the software on other machines as well.
- You can upgrade your current data to version 5 in just a few clicks - please refer to Upgrading to Version 5 for detailed instructions.
Your Options Moving Forward
You will need to decide what is best for your scrip program, and we hope you will consider supporting us as we have been and will continue to support you. Here are your options to consider when you move to version 5:
- Begin ordering all your scrip through us as your sole scrip provider. Our software will integrate with everything you do.
- You can continue to use our software and order from more than 1 scrip center – provided that you order at least $50K, or for smaller programs, an agreed upon minimum through us.
- If you choose not to order anything through us, then you can use version 5 at no charge for 1 year while you make other arrangements to track your data. After 1 year, your software will no longer be activated.
